Connect step by step
- In Merchant Center, open Settings → Data sources. Choose the source containing the products you want to manage.
- Identify how it is supplied. For a file source, use the original URL from your authorized source configuration or feed provider. For an app/API source, obtain a separate export or file feed from your store.
- Open the direct HTTPS file URL to confirm that it returns product XML, CSV, TSV, JSON or JSONL. Do not use a Merchant Center dashboard link, store homepage or product page.
- In Feedaptor, choose Feed URL. Import, review the products and then set a schedule. Keep item IDs aligned with the existing destination source.
Check the mapping
| Source field or route | What to verify |
|---|---|
| File URL source | Suitable for scheduled refresh when publicly reachable |
| Manual file upload | Snapshot; upload a replacement when products change |
| Shopify / WooCommerce app source | Do not assume it exposes a downloadable feed |
| Content API / Merchant API source | Obtain an authorized file export or separate file source |
| Reviewed Google supplement | Use alongside the correct primary source and matching IDs |
When the file needs more preparation
Raw store exports can omit landing-page URLs, currency, supported availability or variant facts. Use an existing Merchant-format feed when possible. Field mapping cannot supply missing business facts, and Feedaptor does not silently infer them.
